Mount of Tranfiguration, Jericho

Top Ten List for Tuesday, November 15

# 10  -  The desert - Today we traveled from Tiberias to Jerusalem.  Our landscape immmediatly changed.  I would say it was shocking, but beautiful.

# 9  -  The Hummus - The Hummus in the Holy Land is by far the best Hummus I have ever had.  We generally have it at lunch and dinner.  I wil never feel the same about Harris Teeter Hummus!

# 8  -  The Community - Our group has really started to come together in a special way.  We are all on this pilgrimmage together and even if our goals/needs are different, we are forming a community of prayer and joy.

# 7  -  Father Peter - His consistent smile and calm demeanor are what keep things going smoothly.  The way he looks out for Brother Angelo is inspiring.  He is a great man.

# 6  -  M & Ms - Mark and Margie Dellagega supply all of the back of the bus with a constant supply of M & Ms.  They keep the energy up and the attitudes positive.  They are a blessing to the trip.

# 5  -  Seeing Camels parked outside a convenient store! - I have seen alot in my life, but never CAMEL parking!

# 4  -  Cab Ride to the top of the Mount of Tranfiguration - It was absolutely frightening!  The driver had a super cool mustache and talked constantly with his hands.  The road was like a roller coaster!  Much prayer on the way up and down.

# 3  -  Listening to JACKIE FRANCOIS' song "YOUR KINGDOM IS GLORIOUS" while riding to Jericho.  Look this song up NOW on itunes and buy it (It's only 99 cents!) and close your eyes and listen to it.  I listened to this song over and over again and was captivated by God and His Kingdom!

# 2  -  Ken and Lolita Harbet renewing their wedding vows on their anniversary today in the Church of the Transfiguration!  They celebrated their 25 year anniversary today! Please pray for them.  It was beautiful.

# 1  -  Mass at the Church of the Transfiguration - I received Jesus today.  Enough said.
